Mini Workshop | Design your own ring workshop

Class Date: Saturday July 19th

Time: 10am to 1pm.

Class Outline:

Learning to solder silver is the start of your journey into the world of metalwork. In this class, you will learn how to create your very own, custom-made to fit, sterling silver ring. 

We will begin with an overview of safety concerns, soldering tools, materials and techniques. Then we will fire up our torches and learn how to solder. Some metalwork finishing techniques will be discussed. 

• Students can select and choose what style ring they would like to make (oval, round, or heart shaped)
• Students will learn how to create and solder their ring out of sterling silver wire
• They will use basic metalsmithing skills such as filing, sawing, hammering and soldering

No previous experience required.

Payment Details

Workshop Fee: $100 +HST per person, includes kit fee for materials.

Registration & Cancellation Policy

A signed waiver will be required to proceed in any workshop.

Minimum age of workshop participation is 15. 

Minimum 3 students must be registered for the course to run.  Maximum 4 students.

Class Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, our CANCELLATION POLICY depends on the time until the scheduled class:

• Up to 5 days, a refund will be issued minus a $15 cancellation fee, or a credit will be given to attend a future workshop. Workshop credits must be used within a 60-day period after cancellation, or it will be forfeited.
• Within 48 hours, no refund or credit is given.

We may reschedule or cancel classes if we do not receive the minimum number of bookings, or in case of bad weather or instructor illness. In this case, you will be notified, and the fees will be refunded.
